Open the welcome email and reply "yes". One word is enough. It tells your inbox provider these are emails you asked for, and it is the single most effective thing you can do to make sure every memo reaches you.

Using Gmail? If the email landed in Promotions, drag it to Primary, then click Yes when Gmail asks about future messages. Using Apple Mail? Add the sender to your VIP list.
